Range Mineral

A few instructions for using Range Mineral.

Getting Started
Feel free to try out the system by clicking on “Build a Supplement Demo”. This gives you access to the supplement options and allows you to build a custom mineral supplement. You will not be able to order, however, until you set up a user account.

Setting up a User Account
A user account is required to get a final price quote and order a custom supplement. A user account allows you to store your past custom supplement mixes that can be reordered at a later date. Logging in to your account also allows you to check the current price of your custom mixes at any time.

Order Sizes
Minimum order size is one ton. Orders should placed in one ton increments.

We recommend that a mineral supplement be fed within 6 months to maintain maximum vitamin potency. Fed at 3 ounces per head daily, it would take about 60 head of mature cattle to consume one ton of mineral in 6 months. For ranches with smaller herds that would like to utilize the RangeMineral.com system, we suggest coordinating with other cattlemen to split an order.

Order Time
We generally require 3-5 working days to have an order ready to ship. Rush orders can sometimes be arranged if production schedules permit. Large volume orders may require more time. We will coordinate with each customer on pickup or delivery scheduling.

Volume Discounts
Volume discounts are calculated in the order process. Discounts are as follows:

5 - 9 tons: $20 per ton
10 - 19 tons: $40 per ton
20 + tons: $60 per ton

Distribution and Freight Charges
If your ranch location is within our core distribution area (see map) you can choose to have delivery figured in to the cost of your supplement. We can usually deliver to your location within one week in the core area. You are also welcome to pick up product at our Fruitland, Idaho plant.

If you are in the secondary distribution area (see map) freight cost will be individually determined for each order. We will try to coordinate multiple orders for delivery to keep freight costs as low as possible.

If your are located outside our distribution area entirely, delivery can still be arranged but order size would have to be fairly large to keep freight cost reasonable. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions.
